From September 8 to 10, 2026, DroSonic founder and CEO Dr. Ghulam Mujtaba presented the company's technology at EmergingTechETI, the 2026 Emerging Technologies for Defense Conference and Exhibition in Washington, D.C., hosted by the National Defense Industrial Association's Emerging Technologies Institute.
His technical presentation, "Passive Acoustic Detection and Cueing of Fiber-Optic and Radio-Silent UAS on Low-Cost Edge AI Hardware," covered how DroSonic identifies drone threats that radio and radar-based systems are not built to catch.
The event brings together defense innovators working on similar problems, from established primes to early-stage startups like DroSonic. Conferences like this one are also a chance to meet the program offices and integrators who will eventually field the technology.
