Fiber optic and autonomous drones have no radio signal, which leaves most detection systems with nothing to find. DroSonic takes a different approach. It listens for the sound of the drone itself, with zero RF emissions.
From November 2 to 5, we will test our prototype at JIFX 27-1, hosted by the Naval Postgraduate School at Camp Roberts. Our approved experiment evaluates passive acoustic detection of small unmanned aircraft in an operational field noise environment. It builds on our single-node field test at DIRT Days 26.04 with Civil-Military Innovation Institute Inc.
